It is founded on the taboo against both Wisdom, and the Superior Man (see the last reference)

http://www.adidam.org/teaching/aletheon/truth-religion.aspx

http://www.beezone.com/up/propheticcriticismreligions.html

http://www.dabase.org/p5egoicsociety.htm

http://www.fearnomorezoo.org/literature/observe_learn.php

http://www.beezone.com/AdiDa/jesusandme.html

http://www.dabase.org/2armP1.htm#ch2Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6011722518762175916.post-17418194673775962552011-12-25T12:32:59.377+00:002011-12-25T12:32:59.377+00:00Graham, I totally agree about the two sides you de...Graham, I totally agree about the two sides you describe — akin to the tension between justification and sanctification. I'm not so persuaded though about how you have ascribed them. Cameron talks of the Bible as providing a defining influence on the formation of the first welfare state and how it was the influence of the church that enabled hospitals to be built, charities created, the hungry fed, the sick nursed and the poor given shelter. By contrast, one could regard the Occupy folk as judgementally moralistic. Your thoughts? Tony LaneAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
